Contemporaries, a Columbia Museum of Art membership affiliate group, is hosting a call for entries for its ninth annual Contemporaries’ Artist of the Year (CAY) Soirée and Silent Auction, designed to increase awareness of and support for emerging artists in South Carolina and to promote the Contemporaries’ membership. Three-dimensional work must weigh less than 50 pounds and twodimensional work must measure no more than 60 inches in either direction, including the frame. Artists can submit up to two entries.
