Ms Jones said: “David is a very dear friend of mine.
“With a designer, you have to click with them and you have to have that bond of trust from the very beginning.
“To have somebody like David designing and styling for me and to sculpt a vision that nobody else has done – I am very fortunate to have this relationship with him.”
Miss Jones, who got engaged in Rio de Janeiro just two weeks after performing at the Royal Wedding last year, said it was decided just days after Mr Marshall’s proposal that Mr Emanuel would design her dress.
She said: “When we came back from Brazil, David found out that we were engaged so we spoke on the phone and he said he would be glad to do it.
“He knows my body and my shape and what things suit me.
“I have had a number of conversations with him about what I want and what is important to me.
“He has shown me the sketches and I was just blown away.
