Miss Williams, Mr. Blount united in double ring ceremony
The elegant princess style gown of white silk chiffon featured a fitted bodice of Brussels and Venice lace. The neckline featured a dainty off-the-shoulder drooped sleeve of lace, pearls and gold beads. A flounce of Brussels lace bordered the hemline of the full skirt which flowed into a chapel-length train. Softly accenting her face, the bride wore a beaded headband of gold beads and pearls around her forehead with a fingertip length veil of soft bridal illusion flowing down her back. Friends at Main Street Styles designed her hair in layers of soft flowing waves.
Honored guests were Mrs. Jean Evans Hunnicutt-DuPree, maternal grandmother of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Walden, paternal grandparents of the groom. Miss Kate Lamb kept the guest book as guests entered the garden. Wedding programs were given to them by Miss Ryleigh Blount, cousin of the groom.
The sounds and sights of nature blended softly with the harmonies of Mr. David Rhett Blount, guitarist, Mr. Jay Beverly, pianist, and Mr. David Van Wyk, cellist. Very dear family friend and renowned fiddle player, Mr. Glenn Watkins, joined the musicians on the violin.
