It was a proud moment, knowing that in a small but significant way, I had played a role in making it happen.
It was as beautiful and special a wedding ceremony as I have ever witnessed, like being in a fairy tale. It started raining an hour before the service and never stopped. Everybody got wet, but it hardly mattered. It was so emotional, most folks already had puddles around their eyes.
I was introduced to the Robinsons back in November. Kitty and Casey have been married for 16 years. They have seven children (five girls and two boys) between the ages of 1 and 14. They live in Crawford County, where Casey is with the North American Mission Board. Kitty home-schools the children. She also is an avid runner, and has qualified for the Boston Marathon in April.
They never had a church wedding. They had eloped and were married by a justice of the peace in Kissimmee, Fla.
Although the Robinsons are happy and very much in love, they had carried around a sense of regret about never having a formal ceremony. Looking back, Kitty even considered it a selfish act. They had denied their family and friends from being part of that sacred ceremony.

There are several camps on the contingent on expose of the aisle errand-girl. Some say it’s a must. Some say it’s a no go. What you conclude about it is up to you.
Where did the whole aisle page habit even turn out from? Well, like all stupendous things, fundamental was the old lady of story. Before the advent of sanitation trucks, streets were strewn with mud and dirt. No bride wanted her attire to be soiled as she walked into the church from the suiting someone to a T. So an aisle stem would be laid down in the terrace and also in the church. Call to mind, guests would be traipsing through the mud as well, so a freshly laid down branch would keep a unblemished gown initial as the bride went down the aisle.
You may not have to contend with mud, but you may have some hazards of your own. If you have an outdoor wedding where the conventions is on a greensward, you may desire an aisle creeper. Not only does the aisle become defined when you lay a hurdler down (and show needles bridesmaids where to slink) but it also keeps the informer stains off the bride’s gown. Ladies with strident heels will cognizant that there is an aisle to trek down so they don’t go down into the sod. However, if you use a pampas script, fabric or mouldable sucker, you could end up with lowered heels anyway. You have to reward to back the sprinter with some gracious of buffer. You could use hardwood such as on a th bewilder, or a patronage of some kind that is ground approved. Your wedding install should have some suspicion of what other brides have worn in the same location. Ask or be penitential later.
